MobiMY is an online register for lost, stolen or found mobile phones. Every mobile phone has a unique International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI number), which is like a serial number that makes the phone identifiable. This IMEI number is what you use to register your phone on the MobiMy central database. The IMEI number can be found on the phone’s battery, on its box packaging, in its settings, via the MobiMy app, and by dialing a 5-digit string (*#06#). If you lose your phone which has been registered with MobiMy, it will be flagged in our database as being ‘lost.’ When somebody finds your phone and registers its IMEI number on MobiMy, there is a match in our database. When there is a match, you will receive an e-mail message that your phone has been found. You will then be able to get in contact with the finder and retrieve your phone. Even if your phone was not registered in the MobiMy database before it was lost or stolen, you can still register it with MobiMy as ‘lost,’ provided you know its IMEI number   Register your lost phone Did you find a phone? If you find a phone and you register it with MobiMY, it will be flagged in the database as being ‘found’. When the owner registers his or IMEI number as well, there is a match in the database. When there is a match, you will receive a message that the owner of the phone was found and you (as finder) can get in touch with the owner.   Register a found phone How does it work? Registering your mobile phone is completely free and fairly simple. Step 1: Go to the website www.mobimy.info Step 2: Click on the button that applies to you (register, lost, found, sold). Step 3: Fill in at 'Details' your IMEI number and click next. After you complete these steps, you will receive a confirmation email and, once confirmed, your mobile phone is recorded in our database.
